J & S DeSimone Booksellers began as an online book store but we soon expnaded to a real-world location in Rochester New York's Neigborhood of the Arts.
Our Village Gate locations places us right next to several dozens of fine shops and restaurants. The Rochester Arts Museum, the Strasenburgh Planetarium, the Eastman House, the Public Market and more, are all within walking distance.

Of course you don't need to come to our shop to find or buy a book. You can search our collection and place an order online. Your selection can be delivered straight to your door.
But you're always welcome to visit or to call. Our book store hours are:
We'll be closed for lunch from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM on Tuesdays through Fridays during the school year for school bus meetings. We're also closed during all major holidays.
