We will be happy to appraise your books, individual items or entire collections. The fee for appraisals is $200.00 per hour. You will receive the necessary paper work for your insurance company or for donation purposes. We will be happy to provide an estimate of how long it will take to complete your appraisal before beginning your appraisal.
Authentication service is also available for a fee for $175 per hour. If your pieces are something we are unsure of, we will refer you to a more appropriate expert. An authentication is to determine if your item is genuine, while an appraisal determines the fair market value and authentication of your items.

We don't just sell books, we've been been known to buy a few in our day. We are interested in looking at your books regardless of whether they number from one to thousands. We pay a fair price and are happy to travel to you to look at your books.
Unfortunately we are not interested in the following areas: Encyclopedias, Text Books, Book Club Editions (with a few exceptions), Children's, or Cookery & Crafts (with exception to 18th & 19th century editions).
Condition is, of course, important to us when we are purchasing books.
