About Sarah Freligh:
Sarah Freligh’s poetry and fiction have been widely published in literary journals including The Comstock Review, Iowa Woman, Painted Bride Quarterly, Third Coast, Elysian Fields Quarterly and Tar River Poetry.
Sarah was the recipient of a Constance Saltonstall Foundation grant for poetry in 2006. She also received an Artist Residency Exchange Grant in 1997 from the New York Foundation for the Arts, during which she completed work on a short story collection entitled The Absence of Gravity.
Her book of poems, Sort of Gone, is forthcoming in February 2008 from Turning Point Books.
A former sportswriter for the Philadelphia Inquirer, Sarah is presently at work on a novel, Half-Past Crazy.
